Elon has such a big heart for those less fortunate. The price for the Optima Bot Gen 3 @ 2579. and may possibly be Medicare covered will allow people to stay in their homes longer. I can think of lots of people who will benefit from this!
I am a 79 year old widow. I had a stroke in2021 affecting my left side. I have advanced RA that has greatly affected my ability to use my hands. Am weak and my balance is bad so I use a walker. I am so excited about using the robot to help me gain independence and a better quality of life.
WOW! I’m a happy widow with no prospects for a man in my future. BUT…I’m going to get myself a Tesler Optimus robot, instead! I think I’ll call him Rob! Rob will cook my meals, serve them and clean up! Rob will do my yard work and wash and vac my car. Rob will change my bed and keep my home spotless clean!
I believe Rob will be able to carry on a friendly and intelligent conversation, too! Perhaps we’ll even paint together! He’ll also walk my future dog!!

I am 77 year old widow who lives alone in a small house in Mexico. Even though my income is low, I am able to pretty much care for myself. However, there are many things I can not do ir just need another pair of hands for. I think “Rob”, my future Tesla Optimus, will enable me to stay in my home and live out my life in freedom, and I think…fun!

My wife is 80 and disabled. I am 81 and still doing fairly well, but I can see that an Optimus Gen3 would be a perfect companion, caregiver, and first responder if one of us falls and needs an ambulance.
Is it possible that when our doctor prescribes an Optimus for us that our insurance will cover some of the cost? Tesla must look into this and get the proper means for having it classed as a medical device for the older disabled persons like us?
